Today in Human Geo we talked about how back then the teachers were allowed to hit the students if they were to misbehave or act out in class. Most parents back then were even in agree of this if their child was to act out. Then we talked about how nowadays teachers aren't allowed to hit or smack any students or the teacher could get fired or if parents decide to press chargers of something. Next, we then talked about A Message to Garcia and wrote some more notes about the passage that we didn't get or have. After, we talked about writing and taking notes and how that we should learn that we shouldn't write word for word when given notes, that you should shorten it so that you don't miss any of the other notes. Lastly, for the remainder of class we had like 12 minutes left and we are talking more about the shorthand symbols and blogging about what did today.

Post Test

Today in Human Geo we just took the test and I feel like I did okay on it but I wasn't too sure about some the questions and I couldn't remember what I the answer was. I also kind of saved myself because the answer was Papua New Guinea but it didn't say that, it said like a country north of Australia and I put the fertile crescent because I didn't see that answer. But after I finish the test before turning it in, I made sure that everything was answered and I went back to some of the questions I wasn't too sure about and I reread that one and I changed my answer because I read it again and I realized that it didn't say Papua New Guinea but it was referring too it. There was like I feel like a lot of trick questions on this test.

getting our quizzes back

Today in Human Geo we got our quizzes back that were about the five religions that we learned in like two days. I got a 71% on it and I definitely could have done better but I'm happy with what I got because I feel like if I didn't study for a little bit I definitely would've gotten a way worse score than I did. The numbers I got wrong for the test was 3 and the question was "their writings are collected in the Vedas" and I said Buddhism and the right answer was Hinduism. Another question was 12 and the question was "along with Buddhism, its followers believe in reincarnation" and I said Judaism but the right answer was Hinduism. Question 16 was "along with Buddhism, this is NOT an abrahamic religion" I said Judaism and the right answer was Hinduism.
